Adam Veenstra - President
A founding member of Connect Quinte, Adam was born and raised in Prince Edward County, and currently resides in Trenton.
Doug Jackson - Treasurer
Doug is a retired dentist who has lived most of his life in Trenton. He has served on the Quinte West Accessibility Advisory Committee and coached Special Olympics soccer. He presently volunteers with two lunch programs in the city.
Patrick Cureton - Secretary
Patrick has 35 years of experience in education, including 26 years as a system leader in the roles of
Principal, Superintendent, and Director of Education. He has served as both a member of the board of directors and chair of the South Grey-Bruce Branch of St. John Ambulance in Hanover, and was part of the team responsible for the construction of St. John House in Hanover. He also has 10 years of residential construction experience.
Spencer Hutchison
Spencer is a life-long resident of Trenton and is semi-retired after 35 years of workingin the field of municipal land use and planning. Spencer was the Senior Associate Planner with RFA Planning Consultant in Belleville and prior to this he was a municipal planner with the City of Trenton, the Municipality of Port Hope and the City of Belleville. In his spare time he serves on the Executive Board of the Quinte West Soccer Club and the Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation.
Matt Ponstein
Matt is a real estate appraiser and local business owner living in Trenton with his wife and four kids. He joined the board because he cares about making housing accessible to everyone.
Jillian Postma
Jillian has a background in seniors’ non-profit housing administration and small business ownership. Now retired, she brings experience in community service and business operations. Jillian is deeply committed to supporting the development and sustainability of affordable housing.
Irene Robbins
Irene is a resident of Trenton for 44 years. She is a retired Manager of Community Living Belleville and Area having worked in the Disability Services sector her entire career. Her focus during employment was leadership, financial accountability, outcome based, compliance and licensing with the Ministry of Community and Social Services, she also volunteers for the Quinte West Accessibility advisory committee. Irene enjoys the many benefits our community of Trenton offers daily.
